What's done is redone

The Divine Sarah as Lady M is back on the canvas (or board, as the case may be). It's a better painting for it, despite the loss of a week that I could've been working on other pieces.

The scene is from the sleep-walking, out-damn-spot part of the play. "What's Done Cannot Be Undone."

You're lucky this post was here when I stopped by. I was ready to admonish you for abandoning your blog again! The fact that you could repaint her in one week is actually amazing. I like the bluish-purple shading on her face.

This is a beautiful painting, Ken. Linda's right: one week is amazing!
Those buildings at Sewanee are beautiful.
