That is fascinating (and beautiful) how each face morphs into the next; kind of like they're all the same woman / anima.
So how's it going with Maud? Don't we get to see an in-progress?
When will we get to see anything on the last painting?
Remember what Ilse used to tell us about pestering Seymour? Just let him work!! We'll see Maud after he graduates in July.
Ilse? Good lord; I forgot about her.Sunday for Maud perhaps. My work in progress just looks like bad painting alas.I'm also finishing up a painting of the Mercer House in Savannah, that hopefully will be interesting.
well, Peter Pan is close enough to post, but it's been rainy, so I haven't had enough light to shoot her.Maybe tomorrow. Then to finish Roslind.
How many are you working on at once?!
right now, I'm working on four.
Did you say they're oils, so you have to wait for them to dry?
I use Liquin medium and mix it in with virtually all the paint before I apply it (with brush or knife). It dries easily overnight, and will usually dry in 3-4 hours. I seem to glaze a lot, so it's pretty critical (otherwise, I'd never get done).
